Living a Metaphysical Life -- Even with Covid-19

Updated: Dec 11, 2020

Greetings to you during this sacred season. It's sacred even with -- maybe especially with -- Covid-19.....which I'm recovering from now (yep, I wear a mask and do all the right stuff. Pernicious little virus).

Christians are in the middle of Advent, which is the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas. Some of you may be familiar with Advent, or it may be new to you. Either way, this season is calling all metaphysical Christians to a particular way of being.

Let’s talk about that way of being a little more. It is counter-cultural….Advent asks us to simply be with ourselves and our practices. Being present with ourselves, in the present moment (with your chakras and energy and all!) is a profound gift.

Advent during 2020 is a little weird, and more than a little poignant with continued social distancing. In fact, I myself am recovering from Covid-19 and my spouse spent 5 nights in the hospital with the virus. I’m grateful that he is back home and doing well. It has made the season of waiting for the birth of the Christ Child – the birth of Love – even more special and with an increased sense of yearning.

What sustained me during this time of illness was my practices, and a wider community. It was life-affirming to know that fellow energy workers were holding us in a warm, energetic network. My own meditation allowed me to work with my own chakra system and to bathe myself in the knowledge that I am wildly supported by the metaphysical universe – as a Christian.

This doesn’t mean that I got a peek into the future or got to super impose my own will or control about outcomes. It does mean that I am never, ever alone or without resources at my fingertips –or at my chakras, either. I got to do everything within my own power to offer healing to myself, my spouse, and others. It is my desire, my calling, my hope to share this beautiful way of being with the world.

With that in mind, I have something special for those of you who feel that you are:

a) Beginners in the world of metaphysics

Or

b) Have been exploring metaphysics for a while, but confused about the “Christian” part

It is a somewhat impromptu training I’m doing on THURSDAY – tomorrow – to talk about how you can access metaphysics as a Christian for beginners or those who don’t quite know how to fit metaphysics into their faith life. In fact, this training came about at the end of last week when I saw the desire among many of you to solidify your understanding of metaphysics without rejecting Jesus.

The training will be short (45 minutes), and I’ll introduce you to my pilot program that equips Jesus followers to embrace metaphysics with joy. We will talk about intuition, chakras, angel cards – and how you can fit them into your Christian, metaphysical life with joy. At the end of the training, you can decide if you want to take it further with the pilot program if it is right for you.

This is the last time that I’ll be offering participation in the pilot program, just FYI.

The training is at 5 p.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. Eastern, and replays will be available.

My recent experience with Covid, especially having my beloved in the hospital, brought home to me with even greater depth how much we need to get these practices and ways of being out there in the world. In a time of anxiety, they got me through a bit of beauty, grace, and comfort. I wish nothing but the same, or better, for you.

To register for the training, just click here: https://bit.ly/3ozO1sE

You’ll click “register” at the bottom of the screen, and voila, you’ll be registered.

I'm ready to finish out 2020 with a quiet meditation and a loud voice to the world -- you are cherished and loved beyond belief. Let's live like it.
